Plug Fans

FBA have recently introduced a range of Plug fans, these being high performance centrifugal impellers that have been designed for clean or slightly dusty air, to achieve the best possible aerodynamic performance when not fitted within a conventional fan housing.

The design of fan allows for direct drive, which is an improvement on the belt driven design, increasing the fan efficiency and requiring less service attention for fan bearings, belt and pulley assembly. The plug fan design saves space by eliminating the fan housing.

The impeller is manufactured in steel, with backward curved airfoil blades and enamel finish.

The inlet cones for the different wheel types are designed to give the best possible aerodynamic performance and high efficiency.
