FBA were approached by Dragline to manufacture and supply centrifugal fans to ventilate equipment located at a mine near Mackay QLD. FBA calculated the fan duty and fan selection.

We have provided fans for several dragline projects with different manufacturers and our expertise is now sought in this area.

Features of the completed fans include:

• Large supply air fans – 90kW motors

• Eight fans situated on the roof of the Dragline.

• Air drawn through Dynavane (to extract dust and grit)

• 2 centrifugal bleed air fans (up to 2000 pa) for Dynavane to extract grit
