This project involved the supply of a replacement fan & inlet box for a test rig for mining equipment for Test Safe Australia, at Londonderry Penrith NSW. There were no records of fan duty and motor size and the fan was considerably larger than any we had previously made.

FBA produced a fan curve depicting volume, PA and absorbed power for the original fan. Updated features included:

• Fan casing & inlet box were 6mm plate

• All components (other than impeller) were HDG

• Expansion joints between inlet box & existing duct

• Original fan removed from site and new fan re-assembled on site

• New electric switchboard
